FULTON, MS – A three goal second half by East Central Community College hands the Itawamba Community College men's soccer team a 4-2 MACJC North Division loss.
The Indians (7-6, 2-3 MACJC North) fell behind early as East Central netted the game's opening goal at the 11th minute, but rallied as Michael Kiser (Olive Branch) netted the equalizer at the 21st minute.
Kiser struck again at the 42nd minute to give the Indians a 2-1 lead headed into halftime, but the lead was short lived as the Warriors tied the contest at 2-2 early in the second half.
With the game tied, both teams were fighting to find the go ahead goal, and at the 68th minute the Warriors found the back of the net to take the lead.
At the 82nd minute, the Warriors picked up another goal to extend their lead and give them the 4-2 victory.
The Indians now have a week off but return to action Wednesday October 12 for a MACJC North Division showdown with Hinds Community College in Fulton.
