Indians defeat Oxford-Emory, 3-1

OXFORD, GA – A late scoring surge gave the Itawamba Community College men's soccer program to a 3-1 road win over Oxford College of Emory University Wednesday.
With time winding down in the first half, the Indians (3-2, 0-1 MACJC North) found the back of the net on an unassisted goal by Cameron O'Daniel (Tupelo) at the 44th minute.
Oxford-Emory quickly found the equalizer at the 52nd minute and the game remained knotted at 1-1 until Michael Kiser (Olive Branch) connected with O'Daniel broke for the go ahead goal at the 82nd minute.
The Indians picked up an insurance goal in the final minute of play Christian Rojas (New Albany) beat the keeper on a ball from Kiser.
Next for the Indians is another road test on Friday as they travel to Raymond for a North Division showdown with Hinds Community College.
