Indians stumble in division opener at East Central, 2-0

DECATUR, MS – The Indians dropped a tough, 2-0, loss to East Central Community College to open division play on Friday.
East Central struck early when Courtland Moore found Freddy Gutierrez in the sixth minute of the match. The Warriors extended their lead, 2-0, in the 58th minute when Joseph Stewart found the back of the net off a feed from Orion Anderson.
ICC (2-2-0, 0-1-0 MACJC North) had four shot on goals but couldn't find a way to break through.
Thomas Blake (Fulton) finished the match with three saves on five shots on goal in 90 minutes in net.
The Indians will travel to Oxford, Georgia to take on Oxford College of Emory University on Wednesday before stepping back into division play on the road against rival Hinds Community College on Friday.
