WESSON, MS - The Indians helped completed the sweep of Co-Lin with a 6-0 victory over the Wolves in the nightcap.

"It was a big day for the guys," said Coach Mike Sullivan. "Anytime you can get five different players with goals it gives you a big boost of confidence heading into the second run of division play."

Anthony Fernandez (New Albany) scored a pair of goals and had an assist while Ricky Hackler (Columbus), Brayden Timmons (Pontotoc), Will Bevill (Birmingham, AL), and Piercen Burchfield (Pontotoc) each had a goal for the Indians.

"I felt like we lost our attacking style of play in the loss to East Central and that's one thing the guys have worked on ever since," commented Sullivan. "We've got to play that final minute with the same intensity that we played the first minute."

Hackler, Bevill, Dylan Howard (Starkville) and keeper Ben Schaefer (Tupelo) each had an assist while Schaefer and John Nabors (Tupelo) combined for the shutout victory.

Fernandez moved back into a tie for second place with most goals in the nation (15) with his two-goal performance and is three goals behind Dayle Robertson of Ancilla College, who has played two more matches than the Indians on the season.

Howard is in a two-way tie for third place for most assists in the nation (10) and is one goal behind national leaders Ayeni Adedayo of Kennedy-King College and Angel Rey Heredia of Yavapao College.

ICC will return to action on Wednesday when they play host to Meridian Community College at 4:00 p.m.
