FULTON, MS -- Itawamba Community College soccer coach Mike Sullivan picked up career win No. 200 when the Indians defeated Meridian Community College on Friday, but the win didn't come easy.

Despite being with three starters due to injuries, the Indians (3-3-3, 1-1-2 MACJC) won on a golden gold by Ashley Page (Sittingbourne, England) off a cross from Drew Hankins (Caledonia) to pick up a 3-2 victory in the 103rd minute of the second overtime.

"I'm proud of the guys fighting to get this win," said ICC head soccer coach Mike Sullivan. "We had players step up for us in the place of some of our key guys being hurt and as coaches that gives you a really good feeling knowing you have players that can be productive off the bench when you need them as the season progresses."

ICC took a 1-0 lead in the 50th minute when Page scored off an assist from Moises Solis (New Albany) before doubling their lead when Page returned the favor with an assist to set up Solis to score on an open net.

The Eagles answered with an uncontested shot from 18 yards out and 10 minutes later got the equalizer to send the Indians to their third-straight overtime match and opened the door for Page's heroics after a scoreless first overtime period.

Ben Schaefer (Tupelo) allowed two goals and had six saves in 104 minutes in net.

Daniel Cox (Olive Branch) scored the Indians' lone goal on a header off a cross from Madison Francis (Amory) in the 80th minute of the 1-1 double overtime draw.

Freshman Keeper Cullen Grantham (Corinth) was nominated for National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Player of the Week consideration for his 12-save performance in 110 minutes in net against the Rangers.
