Pass Christian, Miss. – Jake Ware (Oxford) earned a Top 10 finish and the Indians came in sixth in MACCC Event 4 at The Oaks Golf Club Tuesday.
The Indians shot 651 (+75) as a team and finished seven strokes ahead of Northeast.
Ware had a good tournament, but had one of the best scores on day two, shooting one over (73) to bring his two day total to 151 (+7) to finish tied for 9th.
Trace Sonnier (Vancleave) finished tied for 28th as he shot an 83 (+11) in the final round to bring his total to 165 (+21).
Corbin Andrada (Olive Branch) came in 37th with a 168 (+24) total after shooting an 88 Tuesday., and Evertt Price (Amory) took sole possession of 42nd place with a 171 (+27) total after shooting 79 (+7) in the final round.
Jack Herring shot an 84 (+12) on day two and finished 62nd.
The Indians next tournament, MACCC Event 5, will be held at Dancing Rabbit Golf Course in Philadelphia March 6-7.
