Natchez, Miss. – Itawamba Community College earned its second top three finish of the season as the Indians finish MACCC Event 2 in third place.
The Indians started the day in second place at Beau Pre Country Club but fell one spot to third after shooting 318 (+30) in the final round to bring their two-day total to 624 (+48).
Ross Reeder (Tupelo) led the Indians and earned a ninth place finish. He shot seven over (79) on in the final round to finish eight over (152) for the tournament.
In his first tournament of the year, Jake Ware (Oxford) picked up a top 10 finish shooting nine over with a two-day total of 153 and shot a 78 (+6) on day two.
Trace Sonnier (Vancleave) finished 23rd as he shot eight over on day two to finish with a 159 (+15) total.
Rhett Gullett (Olive Branch) finished tied for 24th after shooting 160 (+16) on the tournament and 81 (+16).
Blaine Sanders (Nashville, Tenn.) shot nine over on day two to move up seven spots and finish tied for 51st with a 178 (+34).
The Indians will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule Oct. 10-11 at MACCC Event 3 that will be hosted by Meridian at Briarwood Country Club.
