MERIDIAN, Miss. – The Indians finished fourth in the Meridian Invitational after shooting a 313 on the final day of play for a two-day total of 625 (+49).
Garrett Moore (Southaven) carded a 75 (+3) to finish tied for ninth with a 152 (+8). Brandon Barrett (Tupelo) turned in a 78 (+6) to finish tied for 13th. Hunter Lucas (Belmont) shaved four strokes off his opening round 79 to card a 75 to total 154 (+10) to also finished tied for 13th. Art Thompson (Columbus) finished with a two-day total of 165 (+21) and Dean Garrett (New Albany) came in tied for 28th at 168 (+24).
Meridian's Mitchell Fifer earned medalist honors with a 140 (-4) while Gulf Coast won the tournament with a 586 (+10).
