FULTON, Miss. – The golf team is ranked ninth in the latest Golfstat NJCAA DII rankings, while five Indians are ranked among the national Golfstat individual DII and DIII rankings.

Brandon Barrett (Tupelo) is ranked 28th with a 75.40 adjusted scoring average; Garrett Moore (Southaven) is 30th at 75.56; Dean Garrett (New Albany) is 65th at 76.90; Hunter Lucas (Belmont) 67th at 77.56; and Art Thompson (Columbus) is 87th with a 78.23 scoring average.
Adjusted scoring average is a method of calculating a player's scoring average that takes the stroke average of the field into account with the raw scoring average verses par and equalized every score to a par of 72. [Click here for the complete player rankings]
The Indians will open the second half of their season on Monday and Tuesday in the Meridian Spring Invitational at Briarwood Country Club.
