Indians finish 14th in Gulf Coast Fall Invitational

SAUCIER, Miss. – The Indians were unable to make a move up the leader board on the final day of the Gulf Coast Fall Invitational. ICC held steady and finished 14th after a team-total 638 (+62), 56 strokes off the winner Wallace State (Ala.) Community College.

Garrett Moore (Southaven) finished tied for 33rd with Cody Maddox (Wallace State), David Barry (East Central) and Noah Whittington (University of Mobile). Moore turned in a two-day total of 155 (+11) after carding a 74 (+2) on Tuesday.

Brandon Walker (Vardaman) carded a 76 (+4) on the final day of play to finished tied for 37th with Grant Richardson (Andrew), Kalle Nilsson (Spring Hill College), Mac Corbin (Spring Hill College), Thomas Allen (Spring Hill College) and Tyler Wall (Rend Lake). Walker turned in a 156 (+12) for the tournament.

Hunter Lucas (Belmont) finished tied for 52nd with a tournament-total 159 (+15). Easley Keegan (Rend Lake), John Karcher (Spring Hill College), Joseph Mraz (Spring Hill College), Owen Burt (Central Alabama) and Zachary Smith (Co-Lin) join Lucas in the 52nd spot.

Cameron Foster (Southaven) finished in a three-way tie with Alex Hunt (Bishop State) and Jacob Clarke (Belhaven) after totaling 168 (+24) for the two-day event. Foster carded back-to-back rounds of 84 (+12).

Wade McDowel (Lucedale) finished 90th at 175 (+31) while Brandon Barrett (Tupelo) did not finish the tournament.
