Indians 14th after Day 1 of Gulf Coast Fall Invitational

SAUCIER, Miss. – The Indians finished 14th after day one of play at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Fall Invitational on Monday at the Grand Bear Golf Course.

Hunter Lucas (Belmont) paced the Indians with an opening-round 78 (+6) with Cameron Foster (Southaven) carding a 79 (+7).

Brandon Walker (Vardaman) turned in an 80 (+8) while Garrett Moore ended the opening day with an 81 (+9). Wade McDowel (Lucedale) and Bradon Barrett (Tupelo) each closed the day at 87 (+15).

Wallace State (Ala.) took the Day 1 lead into the club house with a team-total 290 (+2). The Indians finished the day ranked fifth amongst MACJC participating teams.
