Golf finishes fifth in Co-Lin Invitational

The Indians slipped two spots after carding a 314 (+16) on Sunday to finish fifth in the Co-Lin Invitational with a two-day total of 614 (+38) at Wolf Hollow.

Brandon Walker (Vardaman) finished 14th for the tournament with a two-day total 151 (+7) after carding a 78 (+6) on the final day of action.

Hunter Lucas (Belmont) slipped into a tie for 15th after turning in a 79 (+7) for a two-day total of 152 (+8) while Cameron Foster (Southaven) finished 19th with a 78 (+6) on Sunday for a 153 (+9) for the tournament.

Garrett Moore (Southaven) jumped from 39th to finished tied for 24th with a final day 73 (+1) on Sunday to finish the tournament with a two-day total of 157 (+13). Todd Harrell (Vardaman) finished the tournament at 158 (+14) after turning in a 79 (+7) on Sunday.

Meridian took home the tournament championship with a two-day total 556 (-20) with Isaiah Jackson taking home medalist honors at 133 (-11) for the Eagles.
