POPLARVILLE, MS – The Indians fell short against Pearl River Community College, losing 75-65 on Thursday night.
Leading the charge for the Indians was Marcel Bridges, who contributed 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting, while James Turner came off the bench to add 19 points with an impressive 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. However, the team struggled overall with shooting efficiency, managing only 34.4% from the field and 28.6% from three-point range.
The Indians fall to 16-3 overall and 3-1 in MACCC play. They will look to bounce back Monday night when they host Coahoma at 7:30 p.m.
