SCOOBA, MS - Itawamba Community College took care of business at East Mississippi to pick up a 72-43 victory.
Dayveun Anderson scored 14 points on 3-of-5 shooting from three. AJ Dent, with 9 points and 10 rebounds, was pivotal on both ends of the floor.
Itawamba's rebounding was also a significant factor, outboarding East Mississippi 43-37, with contributions from Marcel Bridges and Kam Clark, who combined for 11 rebounds.
The Indians are scheduled to host No. 11 Jones College on Monday, Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
