Despite a strong effort, especially in the second half, the Indians couldn't overcome a hot shooting performance from the Tigers. The Indians struggled with efficiency, shooting 39.7% from the field and 42.9% from three-point range, while Northeast posted a more impressive 49.2% shooting from the field. The Indians were outpaced early, ending the first half down 38-28, but managed to rally in the second half with a 42-point performance.
Damarion Winston led the team with 16 points, hitting 4 of 8 from three-point range. AJ Dent added 8 points and 8 rebounds, while James Turner came off the bench to score 10 points.
The loss drops Itawamba's record to 10-2.
