Indians fall on the road to Co-Lin

Wesson, Miss. – Itawamba Community College men's basketball dropped an 88-81 decision in a battle for first place to Copiah-Lincoln Community College Monday night.

The Indians (18-4, 8-3 MACCC) trailed 46-38 at halftime, but battled back to outscore the Wolves in the second half. However, they were not able to overcome the first half deficit, falling by seven points.

Josh Lee (Canton) led the Indians with 22 points, followed by George Marshall (Jackson) with 19 points.

Gemari Marshall (Jackson) came off the bench and scored 14 points, and Kolby Horace (Spanish Fort, Ala.) added 10 points.

The Indians are tied for second place in the conference with East Mississippi, who they host Thursday night. Tip-off for the second place showdown is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the Davis Event Center.
