Indians take care of Lawson State, 73-64

FULTON, Miss. - ICC rallied with an 8-0 run to take an 8-2 lead early in the first half and never looked back on their way to a 73-64 win over Lawson State on Monday.

The Indians (3-0) would take an 11-point advantage in the first half before heading to the locker room with a 33-24 lead at the break.

The Cougars (2-1) made a small run to open the second half, but ICC answered to take a 16-point lead. The Indians maintained a double-digit advantage throughout the second half before picking up the 73-64 win.

Josh Lee (Canton) led the Indians with 21 points. Kolby Horace (Spanish Fort, AL) and George Marshall (Jackson) added 15 each while Rock Robinson (Pontotoc) chipped in 12 in the win.

The Indians will be back in action Tuesday night when they travel to Stillman College to take on its junior varsity squad.
