Fulton, Miss. – Itawamba Community College men's basketball defeated Coahoma Community College 90-73 in their last game before the Thanksgiving Break Thursday night.
The Indians (5-1) got big performances from Fred Cleveland, Jr., (Chicago, Ill.) who led the team with 25 points, paired with a career night for Tyronn Mosley (Chicago, Ill.) with 23 points.
In the first half, the Indians stretched their lead out to as much has 16 points, but a charge right before the half by the Tigers, cut that lead to a 41-39 lead for ICC at the break.
Coahoma took a one-point lead early in the second half, but the Indians were able to regain the lead pull away to a 19-point advantage.
Behind Cleveland and Mosley's big nights, Daniel Mayfield (Toccoa, Ga.) scored 12 points and Rock Robinson (Pontotoc) added 10 points in the win.
After the Thanksgiving break, the Indians will host Mississippi Delta Community College Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 5:30 p.m.
