Indians improve to 4-1 with win at Bethel

McKENZIE, Tenn. – The Indians improved to 4-1 on the season with a 71-60 road win over Bethel University's junior varsity on Tuesday.

Fred Cleveland, Jr. led the Indians with a game-high 27 points while dishing out seven assists and grabbing four steals while Tyronn Mosley added 14 points and eight rebounds in the win.

ICC pulled ahead 21-16 at the 8:15 mark of the first half before Bethel made it a 25-24 contest in favor of the Indians with 4:29 left in the half. ICC answered with a 7-0 run out of the timeout and was able to take a 38-28 advantage at the break.

Bethel cut the Indians' 10-point halftime lead to four, 54-50, with 6:28 left in the contest. ICC was able to match Bethel shot-for-shot down the stretch and eventually pushed the lead back out to double digits to pick up the 71-60 victory.

ICC will return to action Thursday night when they host Coahoma Community College (2-2) on Thursday. The First American National Bank opening tip is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Davis Event Center. The game will be available on LetsGoICCTV.com/red.
