Indians win big over Stillman JV

Fulton, Miss. – In their only game this week, Itawamba Community College men's basketball picked up an 87-33 win over Stillman College's JV Tuesday night.

The Indians (3-1) trailed early but a three-pointer by Hunter Stacy (Biggersville) with 14:58 left until halftime tied the game at 12-12. On the next possession, Rock Robinson (Pontotoc) made a three-pointer to give the Indians the lead, 15-12.

By halftime, the Indians extended their lead to 50-21 and halfway through the second half they led 68-24.

The Indians would go on to pick up the 87-33 win and every Indian scored in the contest.

Fred Cleveland, Jr (Chicago, Ill.) paced the Indians with 12 points, followed by Isaiah Thompson (Amory) and Stacy with 11 points each. Tyronn Mosley (Chicago, Ill.) and Robinson added 10 points each and Mosely picked up a double-double by grabbing 10 rebounds. Daniel Mayfield (Toccoa, Ga.) also had 10 rebounds in the win.

The Indians will be on the road Tuesday, Nov. 16 when they face Bethel University's JV at 7 pm in McKenzie, Tenn.
