Moorhead, Miss. –Itawamba Community College opened the 2021-22 season with a 70-45 road win over Mississippi Delta Community College Monday night.
The Indians (1-0) and Trojans were evenly matched early in the contest and the Indians held a slim 33-32 lead at the half.
Throughout the second half, the Indians were able to extend their lead on their way to the season opening 70-45 win.
Tyronn Mosley (Chicago, Ill.) led the Indians in his first game in the red and blue with a 20-point performance followed by Hunter Stacy (Biggersville) and Fred Cleveland, Jr (Chicago, Ill.) with 11 points each.
