Indians fall to Holmes

Fulton, Miss. – The Indians hosted Holmes for a North Division rematch Monday, but the Bulldogs left Fulton with an 87-79 victory.

The game got off to a slow start, but once things picked up, the Indians saw themselves trailing 47-31 at halftime.

In the second half, the Indians trailed by 20 and went on a run to cut the lead to 66-57. The Bulldogs' lead would remain at 10 for most of the final minutes of the contest as they went on to pick up the win.

Brandon Brown (Memphis, Tenn.) led the Indians with 21 points and 11 rebounds, and TJ Wallace (Amory) followed with 16 points.

Keyan Mims (Fort Mills, SC) scored 13 points and Rod Jones (Alban, Ga.) rounded out the double digit scoring with 10 points.

The Indians next game will be next Monday, March 22 when they host Northwest. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and will be the Indians final home game of the regular season.
