Brown finished the game with 15 points and eight rebounds to lead in the Indians in both categories.

Hunter Stacy (Biggersville) had a nice start to his collegiate career. The freshman scored 11 points, including a buzzer-beating three that sent the Indians into the locker room with a 33-26 advantage at halftime.

The Indians' struggles from the free throw line left the door open for Mississippi Delta to rally from a nine-point deficit to take a three-point lead with less than three minutes left in the game.

Brown nearly had the ball stolen by the Trojan defender before driving the lane. A pair of defenders collapsed on Brown allowing the sophomore to find Porter underneath the basket for the eventual game-winning lay-up with 1.1 seconds left on the clock.

The full-court heave by the Trojans came up short allowing the Indians to celebrate the two-point victory.

The Indians will travel to Senatobia to take on Northwest on Monday, Jan. 25 with the First American National Bank opening tip scheduled for 6 p.m. No general admission tickets will be available for the game. Fans can watch the live stream at nwccrangers.com.
