Indians fall on the road to Gadsden State

Gadsden, Ala. – In their final road game of the fall portion of the schedule, the Indians fell 70-55 to Gadsden State Thursday night.

The Indians (1-6) and Cardinals started slow, and 10 minutes into the contest, the Indians trailed 15-10. By halftime, the Cardinals would extend their lead to 30-23  

Despite the Indians' efforts, the Cardinals pulled away in the second half on their way to the win.

Freshman guards Brandon Brown (Memphis, Tenn.) and Tyler Smith (Atlanta, Ga) had career-highs in the loss with Brown leading the team with 19 points, and Smith following with 17. Sophomore guard Travonta Doolittle (Hughes, Ark.) rounded out the high scorers with 10 points.
 
The Indians will wrap up the fall part of their schedule Monday with the biggest game of the first half of the season as Northwest Mississippi Community College visits Fulton at 7:30 p.m. for a MACJC North Division showdown. The Game will be available live on LetsGoICCTV.com/red.
