FULTON, Miss. – Mississippi Delta proved why they were one of the hottest teams in the league with an impressive second half comeback to hand the Indians a 64-59 loss on Monday.
Leading 32-27 at halftime, the Indians were outscored 37-27 by the Trojans in the second half.
Ma'Darius Hobson (Houlka) scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds while Travonta Doolittle (Hughes, Ark.) added 12 and Rance Champ (Shannon) chipped in 11 in the loss.
ICC will host Coahoma on Thursday in a must-win situation to help keep their playoff hopes alive.
