Indians drop heart-breaker with East Mississippi, 68-64

FULTON, Miss. – East Mississippi scored the final seven points of the game to rally for a 68-64 win over the Indians on Thursday.

The Lions made 21 of 27 attempts from the charity stripe, including scoring their final nine points of the game from the free throw line. The Indians were 6-of-15 from the line.

Shamar Brown (Olive Branch) scored a game-high 13 points. Akeem Kirkwood (Weir) had 11 points and 11 rebounds with Rance Champ (Shannon) coming off the bench to score 12 points. Kendricus Carlton (Batesville) and Ma'Darius Hobson (Houlka) added 10 points each in the loss.

 The Indians will travel to Holmes on Monday.
