Indians fall to Mississippi Delta, 77-69

FULTON, Miss. – The Indians saw Mississippi Delta take care of business from the free throw line to pick up a 77-69 win on Thursday.

The Indians (6-8, 0-3 MACJC North) connected on 2 of 12 from the charity stripe while the Trojans (6-8, 1-2 MACJC North) made an impressive 22-27 from the line, including 17-straight before missing back-to-back free throws with 16 seconds left in the game.

Ma'Darius Hobson (Houlka) paced ICC with 21 points while Travonta Doolittle (Hughes, Ark.) added 13. Anfernee Diggins (Greenville) scored 11 in his first start of the season.

ICC will be in back in action Tuesday night at Coahoma. The Tigers are 4-9 on the season and 1-3 in North Division play. The First American Bank opening tip is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. and will be available on CoahomaSports.com/watch.
