Indians struggle against red-hot Snead State

Boaz, Ala. – The Indians ran into a red-hot Snead State (Ala.) Community College and dropped an 82-57 decision on the road Thursday night.

The Parsons (11-2) jumped out to a 15-3 lead and never looked back as they bullied their way to a 46-18 halftime lead over the Indians (3-5). Despite the large deficit, the Indians battled to outscore the Parsons 39-36 in the second half.

Cartisco Brown (Indianola) scored a team-high 12 points, all coming in the second half while Ma'Darius Hobson (Houlka) added 10 in the loss.

Christian Wilson-Poole scored 22 to lead the Parsons in scoring.

ICC will close out the 2018 half of the season at Lawson State (Ala.) Community College on Monday. The Lady Indians will tip things off at 5:30 and the Indians will follow at 7:30.
