Indians hold off late rally to beat Baton Rouge, 72-69

BATON ROUGE, La. - The Indians held off a rallying Baton Rouge squad to pick up the 72-69 win on Friday.

After leading by as much as 23 in the contest, the Indians saw their lead cut to three with under 10 seconds remaining, but were able to hold on for the victory. The Indians shot 43.3 percent from the floor compared to 39.4 percent shooting by Baton Rouge. ICC connected on 16 of 27 from the free throw line while Baton Rouge made 13 of 24 from the line.

Cartisco Brown (Indianola) had a career night leading the Indians with 24 points, followed by Travonta Doolittle (Hughes, Ark.) with 11 points.

Terrance Dodson came off the bench to lead Baton Rouge with 19 points.

ICC will hit the road for the final game before the Thanksgiving break Tuesday when they travel to Gadsden State (Ala.) Community College.
