Halums earns MACJC and NJCAA postseason honors

FULTON, Miss. – Sophomore Brian Halums continues to rack up postseason honors for his impressive sophomore season in Fulton.

After being named a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American, Halums earned first-team Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-State and NJCAA Region honors.

The six-foot-five Simmons native, averaged a league-best 19.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game this season. He scored a career-high 41 points against Southern-Shreveport on December 9th and scored in double figures in 17 games this season. The Ole Miss signee finished the season with nine double-doubles on the year and had a season-high 14 rebounds at Northwest on January 29th.

Halums was the top vote getter on the NJCAA All-Region team.
