Indians drop second straight at Shelton State, 78-67

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – A sluggish start doomed the ICC Indians in a 78-67 road loss to Shelton State (AL) Community College on Thursday.

The Bucs (2-0) battled their way out to a 41-31 halftime lead over the Indians (1-2) before building a 24-point advantage midway through the second half. ICC went on a 12-0 run to cut the lead to eight in the final moments of the game but the Bucs were able to match the Indians shot-for-shot down the stretch to hold on for the victory.

Joshua Greer (Jackson, TN) led the Indians with a career high 18 points and 7 rebounds while Eric Brown (Greenville) added a career-best 14 points.

Tra'Quan Knight and Matthew Horton led the Bucs with 13 points each.
