Indians drop tough loss to close 2016

FULTON, MS – The Indians dropped an 80-56 loss to Motlow State (TN) Community College to close the 2016 half of the season.

The Bucks outrebounded the Indians 47-19 and had a 20-9 advantage on the offensive boards on top of shooting 50.8% on the night. The Indians shot 42.5% from the floor, but could never overcome the double-digit deficit to rally late in the game.

Brian Halums (Hollandale) led the Indians with 17 points with Charles Brown (New Orleans, LA) and Eric Brown (Greenville) adding 10 points each in the loss.

Javion Hamlet led Motlow with 26 points.

ICC will be back in action on Tuesday, January 10 when they travel to Lynchburg, TN to take on the Bucks to open the 2017 half of the season.
