Hill inks with LA Tech

FULTON, MS - Coach Grant Pate announced sophomore Barri Hill (Jasper, AL) has signed a national letter of intent to continue his basketball career with Coach Eric Konkol and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs next season.
The 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward averaged 9.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game after starting 18 of 20 games played as a sophomore. The Jasper, AL native shot 60-percent from the floor and 66-percent from the free throw line.
He was named to the MACJC All-Star team after recording three double-doubles as a sophomore and ranked 12th in the nation averaging 2.4 blocks per game.
As a freshman, Hill averaged 4.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while starting 14 of 17 games played.
Louisiana Tech, home of NBA Hall of Famer Karl Malone, is located in Ruston, LA and is a member of Conference USA.
