FULTON, MS – Coach Grant Pate announced Murray State forward Charles Brown as the newest addition to the Indians' 2015-16 basketball roster.

Brown averaged two points and two rebounds while playing an average of eight minutes per game as a freshman with the Racers. He shot 43-percent from the floor and 69-percent from the free throw line.

The 6-foot-6, 210-pound transfer earned District 9 5A Player of the Year and Times-Picayune All-New Orleans Large School Team honors after averaging 16 points and nine rebounds per game as a senior at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, LA.

The Purple Knights won a combined 75 games in Brown's last three seasons, including going 24-6 in his final season.

Brown chose Murray State over offers from Loyola, Xavier and Northwestern State.
