SENATOBIA, MS – The Indians got out to a quick start in Senatobia but saw the Rangers rallied to pick up a 68-61 win on Monday.

ICC (11-8, 4-4 MACJC North) raced out to a 15-4 lead on the shoulders of Martaveous McKnight (Walls) scoring 13 of the Indians' first 15 points but saw the Rangers (13-6, 5-3 MACJC North) rally to sneak into halftime with a 28-24 lead on a three at the buzzer from Lewis Freeman.

With momentum on their side, Northwest turned a four-point advantage into 16-point lead midway through the second half before taking a 20-point lead with three minutes left to play. ICC closed the final one minute, 44 seconds of the contest on a 14-2 run sparked by back-to-back-to-back three pointers from Tory Lee (Columbia) and Ron Davis (Edwards) to pull the final deficit to seven.

McKnight finished the night with 18 points and seven rebounds. Howard Thomas (Brandon) grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds and scored seven points.

The Indians were without the service of Barri Hill (Jasper, AL), who did not travel with the team due to illness.

Seth LeDay paced the Rangers with 19 points.

ICC will look to rebound from their second division loss of the season when they host Holmes on Thursday for its annual Pink Out Night at the Davis Event Center.
