FULTON, MS – The Itawamba Community College's men's basketball program overcame a 13 point deficit to defeat Snead State Community College 69-67 Thursday night.

Freshman Quenten Taylor (Edison, GA) and sophomore Cody North (Tremont) led the second half comeback hitting baskets to tie the game late. Taylor drove the lane for a lay up and added the free throw to give the Indians (2-0) a three point lead with under a minute remaining.

The Parson (1-2) tied the contest but Taylor found a lane and drove in to hit the game winning shot. Taylor finished with a game-high 18 points.

The Indians trailed 37-30 at halftime but North's 14 points helped the Indians capture their second thrilling win this week. Sophomore Barri Hill (Jasper, AL) added 15 points and Howard Thomas (Brandon) picked up 10 points.
