Three Indians named to MACJC All-Star team

FULTON, MS – The Itawamba Community College men's basketball program had three of its standouts named to the MACJC North Division All-Star team earlier this week.
Sophomores Austin Timms (Mooreville) and Lakee Westbrook (Shannon) were selected to the North All-Star squad while Kevis Fleming (Robinsonville) was named as an alternate.
Timms, who earned second team All-State honors, averaged 10.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game while competing in all 23 games.
Westbrook averaged 13.7 points, 3 rebounds, 1.4 assist per game and was an 82.8 percent free throw shooter. He also scored 20-plus points six times last season including an impressive three game stretch where he scored 74 total points.
Fleming, who started 19 game last season, averaged 7 points, 3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 steals per game.
The MACJC All-Star Game will be held at East Central Community College in Decatur, MS on April 10. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
