FULTON, MS – It's that time of year again as the regular season is winding down for the Itawamba Community College basketball programs that they honor their sophomores for their hard work, dedication and commitment to ICC basketball.  Those ceremonies will take place before each game Thursday night when Itawamba hosts East Mississippi at 6:00 and 8:00 at the Davis Event Center.

This year, the defending state champion Lady Indians will recognize five players, Ty-nita Baker of Houston, Regina Barker of Aberdeen, Jasmine Hampton of Bruce, Ayanna Lynn of Indianola and Jackson's Ashley Wiley.  They also have four sophomore managers, Katie Duncan of Smithville, Kelci McCormick of Pittsboro, Shannon's Porshia Shields and Mantachie's Jonathan Wesson that will be honored, as well.

On the men's side, the Indians will recognize four sophomores, Deontaye Ewing of Tupelo, Parris Jeans of Mooreville, Quintin Lee of Ripley, TN and Tre' Wells of Tuscaloosa, AL.  Manager Damion Miller of Tupelo will also be honored in pre-game activities Thursday night.
