BOONEVILLE, MS – Quintin Lee (Ripley, TN) scored a game-high 22 points and had a game-winning three pointer rim out as time expired on the Indians' 75-74 loss to Northeast Mississippi Community College on Thursday.

"We came out flat defensively in the second half," said ICC head coach Grant Pate. "We kept stressing the importance of finishing the game and winning the game on the defensive end of the floor, but we couldn't seem to come up with any stops when we needed them the most."

Freshman Chris Harris (Starkville) scored 14 points and had seven rebounds while sophomore Deontaye Ewing (Tupelo) added 11 with Tory Rice (Starkville) scoring 10 in the loss.

"Give credit to Northeast," Pate commented. "They could have easily thrown in the towel, but we kept the door open for them to comeback the entire second half and they did what it took to win close games getting crucial stops down the stretch that we couldn't come up with on our end."

Acie Vance led three Tigers scoring in double figures with 16 points on the night.
