Cook was a four-year letterman in football at the University of Mississippi.
Played linebacker for Tommy Tuberville and David Cutcliffe.
During his time at Ole Miss, the Rebels played in the Motor City Bowl (1997), Independence Bowl (1998 & 1999), and Music City Bowl (2000).
