Keshun Parker selected as NJCAA All-American

Fulton, Miss. – Itawamba Community College sophomore Keshun Parker was named to the defensive First Team All-America by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Tuesday.

The Calhoun City native led the Indians defense this season with a team-high 81 total tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks. His tackles for loss pushed teams back 91 yards, and he also broke up five passes and forced two fumbles.

Parker was also named NJCAA Region 23 Co-MVP, NJCAA All-Region 23 and Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) First Team All-Conference.

The 5'11", 225-pound linebacker also received NJCAA Player of the Week and MACJC Player of the Week honors during the season.

Parker is the first All-American for ICC since 2017 when Dan Ellington and Terry Williams earned the postseason honor.
