FULTON, Miss. –Itawamba Community College head football coach Sean Cannon announced the addition of 32 student-athletes to the Indians 2019 signing class Wednesday. 

QB Dylan Faulk (Hernando) completed 140 of 246 passes for 1,951 yards and 15 touchdowns with only 9 interceptions while rushing for 306 yards to combine for 2,257 total yards. 

WR Javis Wren (Shannon) was named to offensive first-team All Region 2-4A after making 87 catches for 1,527 yards and 12 touchdowns in his senior season at Shannon High School. Quinshun Twilley (Lafayette) had 333 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. Finally, to round out the wide receivers inking with the Indians on national signing day, a dual threat WR/RB Qua Davis (Biggersville) had 3,776 rushing yards and 761 receiving yards for a combined 60 touchdowns. 

RB Thailon Whitfield (Shannon) achieved 2,828 all-purpose yards on 469 carries and scored 36 touchdowns during his high school career.  The Indians also added Division 2-3A Super 22 Team's R.J. Wilson (Independence) to its list of running back signees Wednesday. Wilson rushed for an impressive 3,172 yards on 473 carries in 39 appearances throughout his career at Independence High School.

The Indians added seven offensive linemen to their singing class, which includes: Tim Yarbough (Louisville), Anthony Saylor (Southaven), Ja'Vunta Woodall (Grenada), Darron Head (Southaven), Buddy Baughman (Shannon) Charles Brooks (Greenwood), and K'mayius Cayson (Shannon).

DL Tekoy Randolph (Oakland, Tenn.) led one of Tennessee's most elite defenses to help shutout Whitehaven in the 2018 State Championship. Randolph averaged 4 tackles per game and ended his career with 167 total tackles. Click here to read more about Tekoy and his teammates dominate playoff run.

ICC added 5 other DL standouts: LaDerrick Despenza (Hamilton), Jaquan Lott (MS Palmer), Nate Murphy (Water Valley), Trevon Lemons (Kennett, MO) who earned MAC Division 2-3A All-Region First Team honors, and District 3-1A defensive MVP Jarious Hathorn (Noxapater). 

LB Corley Hooper (North Pontotoc) played both sides of the ball extremely well, not to mention he was also a huge asset for the Viking's baseball team. Defensively, he averaged nearly 100 tackles a season throughout his four years at North Pontotoc High School. Corley ended with 463 total tackles and set the North Pontotoc record for most tackles in a single season with 175. The North Pontotoc Standout received First Team All Division 1-3A Baseball honors and Division 1-3A Defensive MVP, Bernard Blackwell All-Star award and WCBI-TV's Defensive Player of the Year award. LB Keaton Cager (Tupelo) was selected on the Bernard Blackwell Classic All-Star North Team roster his senior year after recording 170 total tackles. Cager had a huge interception in the Golden Wave's 2018 come-from-behind season opening win against Meridian to upset the Wildcats, 34-24. 

LB Ja'Varius Benson (Water Valley) amassed a total of 363 tackles amidst leading the Blue Devils to a Class 3A State Championship his senior year. Benson was also named to the MAC Division 2-3A Super 22 Team. 

TE Tyler Day (North Little Rock, Ark.) will enter ICC in the fall being ranked 2nd in the state of Arkansas and 64th in the nation after surpassing 700 rushing yards to help lead the Charging Wildcats to a State Championship his junior year and State Runner Up his senior season. Also inking with the Indians is dual threat TE/DE Paris Adams (Water Valley). Like other Blue Devil Signee's, Adams helped lead Water Valley to a 3A State Championship. Adams was also a recipient of the MAC 2-3A All-Region First Team honors.  

K/P Elijiah Wilkes (Louisville) whose career-best field goal was a 42 yarder, finished his senior season making 57 out of 62 extra points as the Wildcats went onto win the Class 4A State Title.  

The Indians rounded out national signing day with the addition of seven defensive backs, which includes: Peyton Rea (Madison Central), Quadarious Jones (North Panola), Cameron Moore (Madison Central), Alex Seeden (Grenada), and a trio from Pontotoc Ralph DunnCaleb Triplett, and Immanuel Vance. Vance earned MAC All State 2nd team honors despite battling injuries near the end of the season.

Two Indians move on to Next Level

Jamel Thomas and Spencer Unruh, both of Caledonia, will continue their career at the next level in 2019.

Thomas, a standout wide receiver, will continue his career at the University of South Alabama. During his sophomore season at ICC, Thomas led the Indians with 934 yards on 59 catches and added eight touchdowns. He also led the nation by averaging 103.8 yards per game.

Unruh signed to Faulkner University after a sophomore season where he completed 39 passes for 450 yards and four touchdowns.
