Mills named MACJC Offensive Player of the Week

FULTON, Miss. – Clark Mills was named Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Offensive Player of the Week in a league announcement Tuesday morning.

Mills (Ecru) led the Indians to a 37-34 road win over No. 18 Holmes Community College last week. He threw for a career-high 427 yards and three touchdowns, completing a career-best 29 of 41 attempts. The freshman quarterback also ran the ball four times for a career-best 30 yards.
 
This season, Mills has thrown for 1,308 yards, eighth in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). He is averaging 261.6 passing yards per game which is fifth in the nation, and he has completed 59.4 percent of his passes (90-154), sixteenth best in the country.
 
Mills is now eligible for National Player of the Week honors that will be announced by the NJCAA Wednesday.
