Football moves up to No. 14 in NJCAA rankings

FULTON, Miss. – The ICC football team moved up to No. 14 in this week's NJCAA poll.

The Indians (6-3) earned a share of the MACJC North Division championship but missed out on the playoffs in the league's tiebreaker with No. 1 East Mississippi Community College (9-1) and No. 4 Northwest Mississippi Community College (8-1).

East Mississippi jumped two spots to take over the nation's top spot. Arizona Western (8-0) slipped to second and Iowa Western (9-1) fell from first to third. Northwest stayed at No. 4 while Northeastern Oklahoma A&M took over the No. 5 spot.

Other MACJC programs ranked in this week's poll include: No. 10 Jones County Junior College (8-2), No. 15 Hinds Community College (6-3), and No. 20 Holmes Community College (6-3).
