Football moves up to No. 16 in the latest NJCAA poll

FULTON, Miss. – The ICC football team moved up four spots to No. 16 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Top 20, which was released on Tuesday.

The Indians (6-3, 5-1 MACJC) earned a share of the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) North Division title after picking up a 61-16 win over Holmes Community College (6-3, 3-3 MACJC North) on Saturday. ICC missed out on the playoffs due to the MACJC tiebreaking system.

Iowa Western (8-1) holds on to the top spot while East Mississippi Community College (8-1, 5-1 MACJC North) moved up to No. 3 and Northwest Mississippi Community College slipped to No. 4 in this week's rankings. South Division champion Jones County Junior College (8-1, 6-0 MACJC South) took over the No. 6 spot and Hinds Community College (6-2, 5-1 MACJC South) fell to No. 12 and will be the No. 2 seed out of the South in this weekend's playoffs.
