MOORHEAD, Miss. – The ICC football team picked up its eighth-straight victory over Mississippi Delta Community College with a 62-14 win on Saturday.

It was dominate performance right from the start, Jarvis Hayes (Slocomb, AL) intercepted his third pass of the season on the Trojans' (0-7, 0-5 MACJC North) opening drive to set up Kadarius Forside (West Point) for an 1-yard touchdown run to give the Indians (5-3, 4-1 MACJC North) a 7-0 lead at the 13:15 mark of the first quarter.

Dan Ellington (Olive Branch) found Malik Honeycutt (Tallahassee, FL) on a 57-yard pass and Michael Reed (Newark, NJ) on a 40-yard pass to take a 21-0 lead with 6:47 left in the first quarter. The Trojans turned an interception into a 2-yard touchdown run by Marquvius Kirkham, but the Indians answer when Ellington connected with Terry Williams (Southaven) on a 27-yard pass to take a commanding 27-7 lead with two ticks left in the opening quarter.

The Indians took a 34-7 lead into the locker room after a 55-yard touchdown run by De'Sean Dinkins (Warner Robins, GA) early in the second quarter.

Forside added his second 1-yard score early in the third quarter before Mississippi Delta could get back on the board with a 2-yard run by Malcolm Shirley. Ellington hit Dinkins on a 27-yard wheel route to put the Indians up 48-14 heading into the fourth quarter.

Ellington hit Jamel Thomas (Caledonia) on a 9-yard pass before Keshon Heard (Hamilton) scooped up a blocked punt and weaved his way into the end zone from 30-yards out to give the Indians the 62-14 victory.

The win, the largest margin of victory in the series with Trojans, keeps the Indians in the chase for the MACJC North Division championship and a spot in the playoffs heading into Saturday's regular season finale against Holmes Community College.
