ICC football sends two to the next level

FULTON, MS – A pair of Itawamba Community College sophomores have signed National Letters of Intent to continue their football careers at the next level.
Kemon Hall (Calhoun City) has signed with University of North Texas while Centerio Jones (Horn Lake) will continue his career at the University of North Alabama.
Hall recorded 45 tackles, six pass breakups and two interceptions during his one season in the red and blue. The sophomore spending his freshmen season at Coahoma where he recorded 31 tackles.
The 5'11 defensive back will join the Mean Green squad who earned a bowl bid and finished 5-8 last season.
Jones played in 12 games on the offensive line during his two years in Fulton and spent most of his time at right guard during his sophomore season.
The 6'2, 285 lineman helped the Indians offense put up 5,069 total yards and gain 563.2 yards per game, third best in the nation, and pass for 393.9 yards per game which wa second best in the NJCAA.
Jones will join the Lions who competed for a NCAA Division II National Championship last year and finished 11-2.
Hall and Jones join a long list of their fellow sophomores who have signed to the next level as 15 Indians from the 2016 roster will be playing on Saturday's next season.
