Indians up to 15 in latest NJCAA Poll

FULTON, MS – The Itawamba Community College football program jumped from No. 18 to No. 15 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association Poll on Monday afternoon.
The Indians (5-3, 2-3 MACJC North) jumped back into the rankings last week after defeating Coahoma Community College and jumped three spots after defeating Mississippi Delta Community College 49-7 Saturday.
Other MACJC teams in the polls this week all come from the North Division as East Mississippi Community College held at No. 3 and Northwest Mississippi Community College stayed at No. 5.
Northeast Mississippi Community College rounds out the top ten at the No. 10 spot and the Indians opponent for the regular season finale Holmes Community College jumps back in the rankings at No. 19.
The No. 15 Indians and No. 19 Bulldogs are set to kickoff at 3:00 pm Saturday in Goodman in what will be the Indians fifth showdown with a NJCAA Top 20 team.
