Indians slip to No. 15 in NJCAA rankings

FULTON, MS – The Indians dropped from No. 10 to No. 15 in this week's National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Football Poll, following their 27-13 loss at the hands of the No. 5 Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers (3-0, 1-0 MACJC North).

Elsewhere in the MACJC, Northwest is at No. 2, Jones County Junior College (3-0, 1-0 MACJC South) moves to No. 6, and the Indians' next opponent East Mississippi Community College (2-1, 1-0 MACJC North) takes over the No. 11 spot.

Copiah-Lincoln Community College dropped out of the polls after losing to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (1-2, 0-1 MACJC South) and having to forfeit its season-opener against Mississippi Delta Community College (1-2, 0-1 MACJC North) due to playing an ineligible player for a second-straight season.

Co-Lin and Holmes Community College (3-0, 1-0 MACJC North) both received votes in this week's poll.

Arizona Western takes over the nation's top spot with Northwest, Tyler (TX), Lackawanna (PA), and Garden City (KS) rounding out the Top 5 respectively.
