FULTON, MS -- Former ICC football star Aubrayo Franklin has found a new home after signing an unrestritcted free agent deal with the Indianapolis Colts.

The 2000 Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Most Valuable Defensive Lineman and All-State selection played in 12 games with nine starts for the San Diego Chargers in 2012 and totaled 23 tackles (19 solo; 4 assists).

Franklin has appeared in 126 games, making 79 starts in his 10-year career including stops with the New Orleans Saints (2011), San Francisco 49ers (2007-10) and Baltimore Ravens (2003-07). He has recorded a 431 tackles (230 solo; 201 assists) eight pass break-ups, 4.0 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one interception.

The Johnson City, Tennessee native was selected by the Ravens in the fifth round of the 2003 NFL Draft after recording 70 tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks at the University of Tennessee (2001-02).
